PIP Identification plug
Safety in colour.
The PIP (pewag identification plug) is a variable mark made of soft plastic.
It fits into the existing 4mm peTAG hole on all screwable pewag winner lifting points.
The PIP is an alternative to peTAG (NFC transponder) - if the 4mm hole is not equipped with a PETAG, the PIP can be attached instead and serves as a test mark. The user (and inspector) thus knows that the lifting point is tested and safe to use.
Characteristic for the PIP is that it is offered every year in a different colour. The colour of the PIP shows the last test year.
